Gewurztraminer

Gewurztraminer

Gewurztraminer is an inebriating and seductive white wine, an intense harmony of aromas and perfumes , a riot of flowers and tropical fruit. It comes from the aromatic pink grape variety of the same name, originally from Alto Adige : 'gewurz' means 'spicy', while Tramin is the German name for Termeno, a charming village in the province of Bolzano. The Alto Adige interpretations are fresh and aromatic, with typical hints of lychee, white peach and dog rose, suitable for the whole meal, while in the French region of Alsace very prestigious, powerful and complex expressions are produced, more or less sweet or spicy, to be paired with tasty blue cheeses or creamy desserts. Its intense and strong personality also makes it suitable to accompany grilled or souped fatty fish and highly seasoned white meats. In all its possible declinations it is today known throughout the world for its exuberant, aromatic, elegant and complex soul.
