Winemaking and Refinement | The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in 15-20 kg containers. The yield is 30-35 quintals per hectare. After maturation, they are immediately subjected to a rigorous selection process. The vinification takes place after spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels. The wine remains in 30 hl oak barrels for 40 months and another 12 months in the bottle before being sold |
Tasting Notes |
At sight it presents an intense and bright ruby red color. Aroma of red fruit jam and berries surrounded by floral scents, secondarily perceptible a light spiciness. The sip stretches on a good acidic shoulder and on lashing tannins. A powerful Brunello, of a great vintage, which over time will find its best balances. |
