Louis Roederer
Louis Roederer - Chapagne Brut 'Collection 243' cl150 with case
Description | VINTAGE 2018 2018 was a warm, continental and truly unique. The summer has broken numerous historical records in terms of heat, drought and presence of sun. Result: Pinot noir with a magnificent grain and texture, of the Chardonnays dense and saline if harvested when sufficiently ripe and of the Meuniers with an intense fruitiness. This is the new, original blending idea from Maison Louis Roederer, created to realize the process of converting the vineyards to biodynamics undertaken 20 years ago. It is an evolutionary Brut sans année, which benefits from the effects of climate change; a tribute to the reserve wines and the best estate vineyards. Each cuvée is numbered progressively, 243 representing the number of harvests made in the history of the Maison, founded in 1776. The blending of each Collection is based on the grapes of a single vintage. |
