Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is a native black grape variety from Piedmont, considered valuable and suitable for high-quality aging wines. It is a delicate grape variety, with a slow maturation that lasts until November. It seems that the name Nebbiolo derives from the fogs of the Langhe hills. Another theory, less fascinating, says that the name comes from the typical opalescent patina that covers the bunches of grapes.
