Description

A great classic of the Piedmontese tradition, Barbera d'Alba DOC is rounded, frank, vinous, perfect for pairing with the typical cuisine of the area.

Barbera d'Alba DOC is a typical wine of our area, the queen of the tables of Langa.
We chose to vinify it only in steel to emphasize its fruity notes. This Barbera is presented on the market in the spring following the harvest.

Thanks to careful selection, excellent exposure and very low yields, high quality grapes are obtained that give very complex wines. With this product, the typicality of traditional Barbera is proposed: intriguing freshness, good body and a long finish.

Barbera d'Alba DOC
Winemaking and refinement technique It ferments for 10-12 days in stainless steel at temperatures around 30°C. Malolactic fermentation and a short refinement in stainless steel follow; it is usually bottled and put on the market in the spring of the year following the year of production.
Tasting Notes

Appearance: intense purple red.

On the nose: elegant, sweet and captivating, the intense and fruity notes characteristic of Barbera emerge.

On the palate: vinous, fresh and well-balanced. It is an easy-drinking wine and not overly demanding but at the same time tasty and rich. It is recommended to drink it at a temperature of 18-20°C. It pairs perfectly with the cuisine of the Langhe and with generally very tasty dishes. Excellent with pasta, rice and soup first courses, braised or grilled red meats and medium-aged cheeses. Also perfect as an aperitif with appetizers and cold cuts.
