Fauri Estate

Tenuta I Fauri is located in the heart of the province of Chieti, the southernmost in Abruzzo, among the hills that descend from the Maiella to the Adriatic. We are 250 meters above sea level, an altitude that characterizes the Chieti hills. The vineyards are managed according to the principles of organic farming ; in 2021 the certification arrived and the wines can officially boast the certification.

Tenuta i Fauri is not simply the brand of a company: it is first and foremost a family that has been dedicated to viticulture for years , as demonstrated by the vaguely alcoholic nickname that has accompanied it for entire generations, distinctive of an ancient vocation: Baldovino.

A challenge and a lifestyle: these are the assumptions that inspire Domenico Di Camillo, a frank and extrovert father and winemaker, and his children, who have inherited from him the passion for the craft of "making wine", a mysterious art to be honed and refined.

The children, after studying oenology, chose to return to the family profession, the one they have always heard and seen done.

In Ari, a small town in the province of Chieti where the Di Camillo family was born, there is the cellar with the old cement tanks, inherited from grandfather Luigi, renovated and carefully preserved, with the new steel winemakers and the woods that have always been used very sparingly.
