Description
Intense and fragrant, this Vermentino brings together the essences of Mediterranean gardens, orange blossom, grapefruit, lemon, sage and capers. A vibrant acidity contrasts the warm tones and its softness. It pairs pleasantly with appetizers and first courses based on fish and shellfish. Antonella Corda's Vermentino di Sardegna is a white wine with a fresh and smooth sip, characterized by a pleasant marine and Mediterranean imprint. Corda's Vermentino (like all its wines) is a particularly interesting version with a modern edge without ever turning its back on the tradition of this classic Sardinian wine, for the finesse and freshness it manages to express.

Tasting notes
The wine has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The bouquet recalls scents of orange blossom, aromas of citrus, exotic fruits, wild herbs of the Mediterranean scrub, hints of iodine and sea. The sip is elegant, with a center of the mouth on notes of citrus, fresh almond, yellow fruit and tropical hints. The finish is very fresh, with a pleasantly savory closure. |
