Organic Umbrian rosé from Cornetta grapes
Di Filippo – Forastica Umbria IGT Rosé BIO (0.75 L) is an organic rosé wine made from 100% Cornetta, an indigenous Umbrian variety grown on clay‑limestone soils around Cannara. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and stainless steel aging. Limited production (~3,000 bottles/year).
The company employs a synergy of sustainable production methods, including organic and biodynamic cultivation, the use of animals to work the fields (geese for weeding and fertilizing, and packhorses for working the fields), and the use of social and inclusive cooperatives to support children with disabilities.
