Organic rosé from native Umbrian grapes
Di Filippo – Forastica Rosato Umbria IGT BIO (0.75 L) is an organic rosé wine produced exclusively from Cornetta grapes grown on clay-limestone soils in the Cannara area (Umbria). Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, maturation in stainless steel. Limited production (~3,000 bottles/year).
The company employs a synergy of sustainable production methods, including organic and biodynamic cultivation, the use of animals to work the fields (geese for weeding and fertilizing, and packhorses for working the fields), and the use of social and inclusive cooperatives to support children with disabilities.
