Tenuta Pietramora di Colle Fagiano SocietĂ Agricola
Pietramora - Brumaio Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2023 cl75 BIO
| Description | The estate was born in 1999 by replanting the 4 hectares of pre-existing vineyard and planting new ones until reaching a vineyard surface equal to 11 hectares of Sangiovese grapes and 1 hectare of Merlot with the aim of increasing quality production, the production was expanded with 2 hectares of Vermentino. The soil, of the galestro type, has a medium calcareous composition, low in organic substances and low in clay, and is particularly suited to the Sangiovese grape variety, to which the majority of the company's wine production is dedicated. The galestro mixed with clay is linked to the land exposed to the North West, where the entry-level product, Germile, is born. The landscape extends over vineyard hills ventilated by winds from the sea and the mountains, protected by natural hedges of holm oaks, contributing to the creation of a microclimate particularly suited to the development of vines, always cultivated in line with organic criteria, which will see the recognized certification in 2022. Brumaio is the most elegant and profound expression of Morellino di Scansano , a wine that comes from selected vineyards immersed in the wild landscape of Maremma. An intense and complex red, designed for those seeking authenticity, structure and personality. Its name evokes the first autumn mists, when the air becomes thicker and the wine tells the soul of the earth. Perfect with braised meats, game, roasts and mature cheeses. A meditation wine or for special occasions. |
