Col d'Orcia

Col d'Orcia literally means hill overlooking the Orcia River, which marks the southwest border of the Brunello di Montalcino production area, the name of the company is intrinsically linked to the position where the vineyards are planted.
Producing the best wines that can be obtained from the exceptional combination of soil and climate of this area of Montalcino is the mission of Col d'Orcia.

At Col d'Orcia for many years now, he has always placed great value and paid particular attention to the natural environment in which he operates.

For this reason, starting in 2010, the company took the decision to begin the conversion process to obtain organic certification and therefore become the largest organic winery in all of Tuscany. Since August 24, 2010, the entire estate including vineyards, olive groves, crops, and even the park and gardens are managed exclusively with organic agronomic practices.
With this achievement, Col d'Orcia can be defined as an organic oasis in Montalcino.
