Nervi Conterno is the oldest winery in Gattinara, now led by Roberto Conterno, heir to the legendary Monfortino Barolo tradition. His philosophy combines respect for the land with technical perfection, giving rise to high-altitude Nebbiolos of exceptional elegance.
The 2019 vintage of Gattinara DOCG comes from vineyards rich in porphyry and minerals, which lend the wine a marked freshness and a fine structure. Vinified in steel and aged in large oak barrels for about 30 months, it expresses a harmonious, profound, and authentically Piedmontese character.
