The Grechetto grape variety has an intense straw color, good structure and quality of aromas, intense and elegant, with fruity notes. The alcohol content is generally quite high and the acidity is contained. Grechetto lends itself well to vinification in wood and to the production of sweet wines from late harvests or from dried grapes. It is used pure but also in assembly with other grapes, often with Chardonnay.
