Monin
Monin - Elderflower Syrup Lt 1
Description |
Monin was founded in 1912 as a small artisanal company producing cordials. Its founder, George Monin, was a wine and spirits merchant with a passion for cooking: during a dinner, at the end of the meal, George wanted to offer a cordial to his guests, but, having opened the bottle, he realized that the scent of the liquid did not resemble that on the label at all. Dissatisfied, he began producing his own cordials, refining techniques and seeking out excellent raw materials. His son Paul began producing syrups and opened the export channel. It was Olivier, the current owner and son of Paul, who made MONIN the number one company in the world in terms of range and distribution. Today, wherever you go in the world, you can find a bottle of Monin. It is currently the world's number one syrup producer, while remaining a family business, projected into the development of products with less sugar content and with organic raw materials. Monin Elderflower Syrup provides the tart, fragrant aroma with a juicy taste of these creamy white flowers. Add Monin Elderflower Syrup to champagne, mix it in cocktails with other white spirits or fruit juices for aromatic summer drinks. Fragrant elderflowers make Monin Elderflower Syrup unique and elegant. Use it to create refreshing summer drinks, combining it with Ocean Spray Cramberry and Moskowskaya Vodka and you will have an exciting summer thirst-quenching cocktail. Elderflowers are often consumed as a cordial or liqueur, both made from the flowers and berries of the tree, commonly found in the English countryside. The English say that it is not summer until the elderberry has fully flowered and that summer is over when the berries are ripe. |
