Description This Montefalco Rosso is born in the vineyards of the Di Filippo farm in the hilly lands of the Umbrian countryside. 
For over twenty years the company has been committed to producing wines in Organic Farming with passion and conviction.
Vegan ! Wine whose winemaking process does not include the use of animal proteins.
The grapes are produced in a vineyard cultivated almost entirely with horses.
It is an agroforestry technique that is based on the synergy of multiple crops and livestock activities.

Perhaps not everyone knows that the highest expression of Sagrantino is passito!
Some believe it is an indigenous vine since Roman times, others believe it was imported from the Middle East or Asia by some monks returning from the Crusades. For a long time, however, it was vinified exclusively as a wine for liturgical ceremonies and festivities, a vinification that required drying and therefore a high concentration of sugars to balance the strong tannin that distinguishes the vine.
Today, as then, this sweet version of Sagrantino is renowned and always present.

Perfume Intense and complex aromas with a predominance of wild berries and blackberries.

Sweet and fruity with balanced tannic intensity and envelops the palate.

Food pairings Wine suitable to be consumed with chocolate and dry pastries but also with game and intense meats as well as with mature and blue cheeses.
