Description |
The House Albert Pic dates back to 1755 and belongs to Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, the very well-known producer of Pouilly Fumé “Baron de L”. The major investments made in recent years have meant that the House Pic now boasts one of the best cellars, with cutting-edge equipment and technology. The House Albert Pic specializes only in the production of great white wines, which also includes the jewel of the house: the Chablis Pic Premier.
Made from a rigorous selection of the best Premier and Grands Crus grapes at the foot of one of the oldest historical monuments in Chablis, the beautiful 12th century church of San Pierre.

Production and refinement method |
Grapes harvested exclusively by hand and carefully selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The bunches are destemmed, crushed and gently pressed to separate the pulp from the skins. At this point, the precise desire of the cellar to characterize its products by exalting what is the territory, leads to the choice of having the alcoholic fermentation of this Chablis take place only in neutral steel or cement containers , as well as the subsequent refinement.

Organoleptic analysis |
Pale yellow color with bright and brilliant reflections. On the nose the aromas of tropical fruits are accompanied by citrus notes and light hints of iodine and “pain brioche”. On the palate the body and minerality are in balance and enhance the vivacity and freshness in the finish, typical characteristics of the best Chablis. |
