Nèprica Primitivo comes from the Tormaresca vineyards, a historic Apulian estate of the Antinori winery, close to the Adriatic coast, a short distance from the sea. The company's goal is to produce great wines starting from the native vines of the region

| Winemaking and Refinement |
The grapes were destemmed, crushed and transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place, lasting 8-10 days at a controlled temperature below 26 °C. Malolactic fermentation was completed by the beginning of winter. This was followed by a period of further refinement, first in steel for about 8 months and then in bottle for another 4 months. |

Primitivo has an intense ruby red colour with a light purple hue.

On the nose, notes of red fruit, such as black cherry and berry jam, combine with light sensations of liquorice and sweet spices. |

On the palate the entry is soft, characterized by a round, structured tannin and supported by a well-balanced freshness. |
