Claudio Mariotto 's Barbera Colli Tortonesi DOC comes from the heart of the Tortonesi Hills in Piedmont, an area historically dedicated to viticulture and capable of producing wines of great personality.
Barbera is one of Piedmont's iconic grape varieties, and this region finds ideal conditions for developing aromatic intensity, freshness, and great drinkability. The Claudio Mariotto winery is among the most respected in the area, and for generations has promoted native grape varieties with a respectful approach to the terroir.
The grapes are vinified with temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve the fruit's fragrance. Aging allows the wine to develop balance and roundness, maintaining Barbera's typical lively acidity.
