Cesanese

Cesanese is the most representative native black grape variety of Lazio, cultivated since time immemorial in the surroundings of Rome. It is not a ubiquitous or constant grape variety, it is one of those that "reads" the soil, and its varietal characteristics tend to give different results depending on the soil and climate: soil, microclimate, exposure, elements that appear diversified within its denominations.
