It was 1945 when Angelo Molinari, an expert perfumer and connoisseur of the secrets of mixing, began his experiments to create a product of the highest quality: Sambuca Extra. A liqueur with an unmistakable taste, based on star anise and elderflower (from which it takes its name), whose recipe is still secret today. A drink consumed with a few coffee beans inside, which soon becomes the emblem of a glamorous social era, and the inspiration for the Dolce Vita by maestro Federico Fellini.
