The Talisker Skye Single Malt Scotch Whisky is born in the historic Talisker distillery, founded in 1830 on the Isle of Skye, one of Scotland's most fascinating and unspoiled lands. Even today, Talisker is the only distillery on the island and represents one of the absolute symbols of maritime peated whiskies.
The Skye version was created to offer a softer and more accessible style compared to the classic Talisker 10 Years, while maintaining the typical maritime, spicy and smoky notes that characterize the distillery.
Aging takes place in a combination of refill casks and selected toasted casks, capable of enhancing the sweeter and fruitier components of the distillate. The result is a balanced whisky, with the typical peppery and saline Talisker finish.
