The Borgo Venna Merlot Italian Varietal Wine originates in Abruzzo, a region with a well-established winemaking tradition, where vine-covered hills define the landscape between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea. Borgo Venna highlights this territory through a range that combines native grape varieties with international ones, including Merlot.

Originally from the Bordeaux area, Merlot is prized for its fruity expression and ability to create soft and harmonious wines. Notes of cherry, plum, and small red berries emerge on the nose; on the palate, the wine is round and pleasant, with delicate tannins and a balanced finish.

The designation Italian Varietal Wine identifies a wine that highlights the declared grape variety and its Italian origin, without necessarily being associated with a specific designation of origin. Borgo Venna's Abruzzo identity adds a territorial reference to a versatile red, designed to simply accompany numerous dining occasions.
