The vintage Trentodoc that best expresses the Ferrari style, a synthesis of elegance, freshness and harmony of the best mountain Chardonnay grapes. This wine owes its name to the creativity of Giulio Ferrari who, in the early 1900s, took inspiration from the German «Perlend Wine» to define this prestigious selection of «wine with bubbles».
The immediate reference to the pearl, moreover, represents a reference to elegance and harmony, a metaphor that perfectly identifies this wine.
HARVEST 2018
The 2018 harvest began on August 17 with the picking of Chardonnay grapes grown in the lower vineyards. The date was quite early, although in line with that of the previous year. The 2018 vintage was qualitatively good, especially in terms of complexity and aromatic finesse.
In about a month of strictly manual harvesting, we reached the highest vineyards, picking selected bunches, to bring only the best raw material to the cellar.
