Description |
On the occasion of the sixth centenary of the birth of Pope Nicholas V, the Cantine Lunae company of Paolo Bosoni - as part of the more general promotion of Ligurian wines supported and promoted by the Regional Department of Agriculture - wanted to bring to the attention of connoisseurs and a wider public that "papal" wine which today rightly boasts, among other things, the DOC Colli di Luni denomination. A red wine resulting from a careful blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Pollera Nera which is vinified in steel and left to mature for at least 18 months in French oak barriques. A great Ligurian red, elegant and refined, deep and long-lived. |

Organoleptic notes |
Ruby red in colour with purple hues. The aroma is intense and complex with hints of spicy black pepper and cinnamon and a background of wet earth and leather. Notes of ripe red fruits are also evident. In the mouth it is warm, persuasive, with great personality. Its good minerality guarantees a pleasantly dry finish.
