Description |
The bond with the territory, the history and the cultural roots of the people of Abruzzo are once again protagonists in defining the identity of Talamonti wines. The first inhabitants of the city of Pescara founded a village on the banks of the Aternum river calling it Vicus Aterni and, subsequently, naming it with the same name as the river. Since the time of the Ancient Romans, Aternum had the role of nerve center of the communication routes, becoming a bastion of economic and cultural exchanges in the Abruzzo region.
Among the flagship products of the Talamonti winery, produced from 100% Trebbiano grapes harvested strictly by hand in the company's vineyards at the foot of the Gran Sasso. With Aternum, the Talamonti Winery wants to elevate this grape variety, often not fully considered by the winemaking scene, to its maximum expression. Thanks to a meticulous manual selection, the refinement in French barriques and a further rest in the bottle, a great white is born; a pure, authentic and eternal expression of this vine!
