Endrizzi - The Cellar

Endrizzi is among the oldest Trentino wine cellars .
A story that has been handed down for five generations, the members of the Endrici family have been cultivating those territories since 1885 when that area was still part of the Austro-Hungarian kingdom.
Each generational transition has ensured that the Endrizzi Winery has always been in continuous evolution.

In 1885, Francesco and Angelo Endrici (in the local dialect Endrizzi) founded the winery in the Masetto area , where it is still located. They were the true pioneers who introduced two of the most prized vines in the world in the early 1900s: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, but also the local vine Lagrein and the native Teroldego.

Masetto and Trentodoc are the flagships of Endrizzi's Trentino production.

For the Endrici family, Masetto is not only the name of the line of wines that best expresses its character. Masetto is the historic building surrounded by the vineyards of the current winery but it is also the family terroir where the best grapes are grown. The Pian di Castello vineyard, on the other hand, mainly provides the bases for the Trentodoc , sparkling wines produced according to the classic method. Endrizzi's fresh and elegant mountain bubbles reproduce the territorial scents thanks to maturation on the lees that ranges from 2 to 8 years.
