Claudio Mariotto - Campo del Gatto Rosé Wine 2025 75cl
Claudio Mariotto – Campo del Gatto Rosé Wine 75cl
An unconventional rosé, made from 100% Dolcetto with a very short maceration on the skins. Fresh, fragrant, and elegant, it expresses a new interpretation of one of the emblematic grape varieties of the Tortonesi Hills, signed by Claudio Mariotto.
Campo del Gatto Rosé Wine is one of the most recent creations by Claudio Mariotto, a historic winemaker from the Tortonesi Hills. Following the success of the celebrated red version of Campo del Gatto from the past, this new rosé interpretation was born, obtained exclusively from carefully selected Dolcetto grapes.
The production involves a very short maceration of a few hours in contact with the skins, a technique that allows for the extraction of a delicate rosé color while maintaining the aromatic freshness of the grape variety. Fermentation is followed by an aging period of 4-6 months in steel or concrete, completed by a brief rest in the bottle before commercialization.
The result is a modern, dynamic, and territorial rosé, which retains the fruity character of Dolcetto but expresses it in a fresh, savory, and particularly versatile way at the table. A wine designed to accompany conviviality, perfect from aperitifs to Mediterranean cuisine dishes.
