Grapes | Banditella is a vineyard planted in 1998, where the Sangiovese clones were chosen through a 10-year process of selection of the company clones with the advice of the University of Florence. The Banditella vineyard provides one of the best expressions of the Sangiovese grape. Altitude: 300 mt. above sea level Manual harvest with rigorous selection of the bunches. |
Winemaking |
Medium-long maceration in low and wide vats at temperatures not exceeding 28° to maintain a fresh and long-lived fruit. Two daily pumping overs, combined with 2 délestages on the 3rd and 5th day of fermentation, favor an effective but delicate extraction of color and tannins from the skins.

Aging |
After malolactic fermentation, the wine is placed in barriques and tonneaux (Allier oak, Fontainebleau and Blois) for a one-year refinement period. |
