Cannibal


The name Canaiolo seems to derive from the fact that the veraison period falls in the dog days (July 24-August 24) - or from the characteristic bitterish flavor that could recall the dog rose. It is one of the most widespread vines in Tuscany and even today it can enter as a complementary vine in the specifications of Chianti Classico, Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso di Montepulciano and other regional wines.
