Muratori Franciacorta

Bricklayers Franciacorta

Now in its third generation , the Muratori family has been dedicated to the exclusive production of Franciacorta since 1999, making wine from its own grapes coming from 54 hectares of vineyards, located in each of the six Vocational Units of Franciacorta and all cultivated in compliance with the principles of organic farming since 2017 .

The winery, whose name “Villa Crespia” is a tribute to a wine that was popular in the late Middle Ages and considered the forerunner of sparkling wines, is an example of architecture at the service of sustainability : it extends almost 20 meters underground, allowing gravity to be used to move the musts during the harvest and ensuring a constant microclimate throughout the year. The agri-photovoltaic system, suspended above one of the vineyards adjacent to the winery (one of the first built in Italy), also ensures energy self-sufficiency .

Respect and valorization of the territory and its grapes are founding concepts of the Muratori Family philosophy. From here the most representative wines of the company are born: the Dosaggi Zero (three labels in the collection) which are the most authentic interpretation of the soil and the Simbiotico, the meeting of the organic path with the ten-year experience of winemaking without the use of sulfur.

Since the 2020 harvest, the famous winemaker Riccardo Cotarella and his team have been curating the Muratori wine line. Precious advice and collaboration based on sharing a passion for Franciacorta and love for its grapes.
