NATURE IS THEIR PHILOSOPHY!
A historic reality in the Umbrian winemaking panorama, the result of two generations of winemakers who have dedicated their passion to the land, having a vision of cultivation that looks to the future. organic , to biodynamic and all those cultivation techniques that allow for a lower environmental impact such as the use of geese in the vineyard which allows for energy consumption to be halved.

Their philosophy starts from the vineyard : only by working carefully and respecting the principles and rhythms of nature and plants is it possible to obtain quality grapes . By embracing the belief in low yields, proper management of the land's resources, and harvesting at the correct ripeness, we help the terroir to express itself at its best. Thanks to our knowledge of the soil and vines , with manual pruning plant by plant, we are able to bring grapes into the cellar that give us immense gratification and from these obtain wines that satisfy the customer. Essential in the production of our wines is the optimal cultivation of vineyards to obtain quality grapes without which it is impossible to produce excellent wines.

A SYSTEM IN AGROFORESTATION...
Respecting the environment
, combining love for one's work and quality production, has led us to experiment with a viticulture that it was low environmental impact: we are thus running an experimental vineyard of 4 hectares without the use of machinery, but almost exclusively with the help of animals.

THE HORSES
The idea was born in 2009 enter the draft horses (Draught Horses) as it reduces the trampling in the vineyard due to the passage of tractors, which inevitably compact and ruin the structure of the soil, reducing its fertility.

THE GEESE
Also in 2009, the idea of a vineyard control and cleaning completely entrusted to animals was born, initially on a small plot of a few rows of vines and, subsequently, extended to the experimental vineyard of 4 hectares.
The workers in cleaning the vineyard are the geese . For one hectare, approximately 80-100 animals must be used in proportion. The geese roam freely and feed on the grass that grows spontaneously between the rows. For now, the breeding is held on 4 hectares for a total of 400 geese.
