Description

The blending of wines from the same vintage, coming from dozens of parcels, is completed with some of their predecessors: the "vins de réserve", stored in the cellar for several years. In this process it becomes essential to capture the best of each vintage, avoiding denying the variations specific to each harvest. The "Cuvées" are numbered to date them and to highlight their different personalities.

2018 vintage : grapes harvested in Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers (68%), Avize and Oiry (32%).
The winter is exceptionally rainy, the spring is mild with some stormy events. The weather changes starting in June and becomes beautiful and dry, following a particularly early harvest: we start the harvest on August 30th and finish it on September 11th. The health of the grapes is perfect, the harvest abundant with excellent ripeness and moderate acidity.

The resulting wines are particularly fine and elegant.
