Lagrein
Lagrein is the most characteristic and prized red grape variety of Alto Adige. Fortunately, Alto Adige winemakers have understood the potential of structure, finesse and longevity of this wine and have embraced the idea of a more sober and targeted production. But it is not an easy task, Lagrein is a full-bodied, fruity, warm, harmonious wine with powerful tannins, tamed however by long refinements in barrels.
