Merlot

Merlot is an incredible grape variety, but also one of the most misinterpreted by critics and consumers. The first adjectives that come to mind to describe Merlot are soft, warm, velvety, but this monothematic profile does not do justice to a wine that has adapted to all climates thanks to its early ripening and in many cases has helped winemakers to make soft wines that would otherwise be excessively rough.
