Description Monumental and iconic wine. Undisputed symbol in the world wine scene.
A wine that has proven to be capable of incredible ageing potential, providing exciting drinking experiences even decades after the harvest.
Produced for the first time in the 1977 vintage, it was the first pure Sangiovese vinified in the Radda in Chianti area. The grapes come from historic vineyards, planted between 1968 and 1999.

The 2020 vintage was undoubtedly a vintage to remember in the Chianti Classico area. Nature, perhaps due to the absence of man for several months, expressed itself as it had not happened for a long time. A regular season, with rains at the right time and the summer heat not suffocating, green and flourishing woods, minimal presence of infections in the vineyard and consequent minimal use of treatments, regular ripening and excellent final yield.

The Pergole Torte 2020 presents itself in a superior category version, complex, structured, with great impact and length in the mouth, the excellent acidity well balanced by a very deep fruit. A wine that we can already drink with great satisfaction but that will certainly give much more in the years to come.
