Rose

Rosé is a wine produced with red grapes vinified in white, but leaving the skins to macerate with the must for a more or less short time. That's why it's pink. Rosé wines vary in color from onion skin to almost red: it depends on the maceration time, grape variety, aging. Between the two extremes there is almost every shade of pink.
