Description Born from the desire to bring the world an authentic impression of the Italian Riviera, Portofino is the Ligurian gin. The bottle design is a tribute to the small village of Portofino which, with its 382 inhabitants and its mere 2.53 km² of extension, is the smallest municipal territory in the Genoa metropolitan area. The colorful houses and green hills depicted on the label are typical of the village and give life to one of the most iconic places on the Ligurian Riviera.

Produced in an ancient Italian distillery, Portofino Dry Gin is composed of 21 different berries and botanicals, carefully selected for their aromatic properties: lemon, juniper, lavender, rosemary, marjoram, sage, iris and rose are then combined with other ingredients, collected in the Portofino area. Each batch of Portofino gin is made using a combination of traditional and contemporary methods. From an old Italian copper still - used to distill local liqueurs and grappas - to a latest generation Rotavapor© that produces vacuum distillation preserving the most delicate aromas of our botanicals.

Tasting Notes The initial notes of Portofino Dry Gin are those of fresh lemon and crunchy juniper that transport us to the hills of Portofino.
They give way to a universe of Mediterranean flavors: from the scents of wild rosemary and lavender of the coastal scrub to the sweet and delicate notes of marjoram and sage that evoke the taste of traditional Ligurian cuisine.
