Through this bright red, one begins to enter the world of Ornellaia and to share with simplicity that
passion for quality that you can breathe here every day and that you can find in every sip.

It comes from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes, harvested separately and slowly, variety by variety, bunch by bunch, between the end of August and the first half of October.

Production method

The vinification was done separately in small steel tanks respecting the different varietal characteristics during the fermentation phases.
The alcoholic fermentation was followed by malolactic fermentation, always in steel tanks.
The refinement phase lasted 10 months partly in barriques, previously used for Ornellaia, the other part in cement tanks, to obtain a perfect balance between tannic structure and fruity expression.
