I Lauri - Avalos Pecorino Colline Pescaresi IGP 2023 cl75
Description | Spanish domination, together with the influences of Baroque culture, undoubtedly influenced Italy in the 16th century. The Abruzzo region, like many of the southern regions of the peninsula, internalized many aspects of it on a political, religious, cultural and economic level. The Avalos family, who moved to Italy and were historical antagonists of the Medici family, in fact fueled cultural centers of undisputed and renowned excellence. Pecorino is an ancient white grape variety that has almost disappeared and has recently been rediscovered; a must-try for those who believe that Trebbiano is the only white wine in the Abruzzo region.
