Monin
Monin - Green Mint Syrup cl70
Description |
Monin was founded in 1912 as a small artisanal company producing cordials. Its founder, George Monin, was a wine and spirits merchant with a passion for cooking: during a dinner, at the end of the meal, George wanted to offer a cordial to his guests, but, having opened the bottle, he realized that the scent of the liquid did not resemble that on the label at all. Dissatisfied, he began producing his own cordials, refining techniques and seeking out excellent raw materials. His son Paul began producing syrups and opened the export channel. It was Olivier, the current owner and son of Paul, who made MONIN the number one company in the world in terms of range and distribution. Today, wherever you go in the world, you can find a bottle of Monin. It is currently the world's number one syrup producer, while remaining a family business, projected into the development of products with less sugar content and with organic raw materials. One of the most popular flavors in France, Monin Green Mint Syrup is used to create refreshing water or soda and syrup concoctions known as "Diabolo". According to Greek mythology, Minta was a beautiful water nymph and lover of Hades, who was transformed into a small green plant with inconspicuous leaves by Persephone, wife of Hades, in an act of jealous revenge. Hades, in mercy to Minta, gave her a beautiful aromatic scent that would last forever and the plant is now known as mint. A fresh, sweet, aromatic herb with a cold aftertaste, mint is widely used in savory lamb dishes, in jellies or sauces, as a dessert, or to enhance fruit desserts, ice cream or tea. The eye-catching emerald color and natural aromatic taste of Monin Green Mint Syrup will help you create stunning layered cocktails, refreshing teas and delicious chocolate drinks. Thanks to its emerald green color, Monin Spearmint Syrup allows you to create spectacular layered drinks. Try mixing it with Monin Cordial Lime Concentrate to enhance the refreshing sensation and a Fever-Tree Soda, and you will have created a very thirst-quenching drink! |
