Talamonti Winery

Talamonti has its roots in the Abruzzo region, in a setting of authentic and uncontaminated nature. The vineyards benefit from the uniqueness of a terroir and the privilege of a singular microclimate, co-creators of the international fame of the Municipality of Loreto Aprutino, renowned for its viticultural vocation.

A great wine comes from a great grape. The beating heart of the entire process can only be the vine.
At Talamonti, man works in synergy, adapting methods and times to the peculiarities of a terroir, respecting the identity of the varietal. Talamonti extends its grape production over 32 hectares. The indigenous crops of Montepulciano and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo have been accompanied, since 2004, by the experimental breeding of Pecorino vines.

The meticulousness of micro-vinifications has allowed a delicate approach to the genetic traits of the varietal, with the aim of evaluating its complementarity to a territory, of fully understanding its habitat and somatic traits, with a view to qualitative growth.

Robert Parker Talamonti is one of my favorite producers in Abruzzo in terms of value and price. The winemaking style is very consistent and immediately offers excellent value for money.
Wine Enthusiast Abruzzo’s winemaking tradition dates back centuries. Here’s an excellent value from central Italy!

Wine Spectator Abruzzo produces some distinctive whites worthy of attention, particularly from the two leading local grapes, Trebbiano and Pecorino. Alfredo and Antonella di Tonno with these two grapes offer remarkable value
