Chardonnay is one of the most widespread white grape varieties in the world, a myth, a synthesis of opulence and elegance. It is basically a fresh, fragrant wine, rich in mineral and earthy hints and also structured, but you can age it in new barriques to bring out the mature, honeyed and buttery notes or harvest it greener if you want to push the acidity and produce great sparkling wines.
