Tenuta I Fauri is located in the heart of the province of Chieti, the southernmost in Abruzzo, among the hills that descend from the Maiella to the Adriatic. Tenuta i Fauri is not simply the brand of a company: it is first and foremost a family that has been dedicated to viticulture for years, the Di Camillo family that has looked after these lands for generations. We are 250 meters above sea level, an altitude that characterizes the Teatine hills. The vineyards are managed according to the principles of integrated pest management, halfway between conventional and organic agriculture, limiting defense interventions to a minimum.
Produced by leaving the wine to mature for nine months in cement tanks. The result is a red wine with an important structure and a well-present fruit, ripe and dark, evident both in the aromas and in the taste. Subsequently, delicate spicy nuances and vague floral memories complete a picture that seems to be literally painted as a work of art, and which translates into a sip of unique balance, like not many others.
If we consider the quality/price ratio, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is one of those wines to always have in the cellar!
