Description The Rosso Breg by Gravner arrives on the market, after 5 years in barrel and 9 in bottle. It is born from Pignolo grapes fermented on the skins in underground amphora with indigenous yeasts and without any temperature control. Bottled with waning moon without clarification or filtration.

Pignolo was chosen by Gravner as the only red grape to grow on his land, just as he did with Ribolla after uprooting all the other varieties. A choice dictated by the desire to grow native and representative vines of the territory.
Over the years, the surface area of Pignolo in the Gravner vineyards has increased and today there are 12,000 vines, with a very variable production in different vintages, which ranges from 1,200 to 3,000 bottles.

The grapes come from a cultivation that goes above the organic and biodynamic schemes imposed by regulatory bodies.
Cultivation, like winemaking, is done with the utmost respect and with interventions reduced to the essential where the use of technology and chemicals are totally absent.

The long rest and the long wait aim to elevate the wine towards full maturity and the extraction of the maximum expression of the vine.
A unique wine that gives new emotions year after year, a wine with extraordinary aging potential.
Among the greatest white wines produced in Italy, a monument now fully recognized throughout the world.
Josko Gravner is a personality who has shaken consciences by taking the way of making wine back to its origins, thus paving the way for a new awareness in the world of wine.
Organoleptic analysis To date, it is the most mature expression of these Pignolo grapes compared to previous years. Still young, with tannins that will soften over time, but already silky and well integrated, where the flavor plays with the acid base.
