Montepulciano

Montepulciano

Montepulciano is one of the most important red grape varieties in central Italy and from which the wines Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Rosso, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG and Tullum Rosso take their names. Although it gives excellent results when vinified as a single variety, Montepulciano also responds well when blended with other varieties, particularly Sangiovese.
