Description	A wine that enhances the pleasant fragrance of pure Sangiovese, a historic variety of Montalcino. The vineyards located on calcareous-clayey soils give life to a fresh, mineral and very drinkable Rosso di Montalcino. The 2020 winter season started with a generally dry climate during the months of January and February. From the bud burst, which occurred in the last days of March, until the end of July, the climate was regular, with sunny days and sporadic rain events that ensured the correct restoration of water reserves in the soil. The summer, especially the month of August, was characterized by a rise in temperatures, but without particular heat peaks; the excellent temperature variations between day and night allowed to give the right refreshment to the vines and to start the grape ripening process in the best possible way. The harvest began soon after mid-September to finish in time before the October rains.
Origin	Tuscany
Winemaking and Refinement	Upon arrival at the cellar, the grapes were destemmed, softly pressed and transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature of 25 °C, which lasted approximately 8-10 days. At the end of malolactic fermentation, the wine began its refinement period, which lasted approximately 8 months.
Color	The wine has a lively ruby red colour.
Perfume	On the nose it expresses itself with pleasant hints of red fruit, such as cherry and black cherry, with small floral notes of violet and lavender.
Taste	On the palate it is fresh, fine and tasty, with soft and enveloping tannins; it strikes for the succulence of the fruit and for the persistence of the taste. Excellent pleasantness of drink.

Food pairings	Throughout the meal, it is enhanced with rich meat-based dishes. Roasts and braised meats, including game.
