Description

The blending of wines from the same vintage, coming from dozens of parcels, is completed with some of their predecessors: the "vins de réserve", stored in the cellar for several years. In this process it becomes essential to capture the best of each vintage, avoiding denying the variations specific to each harvest. The "Cuvées" are numbered to date them and to highlight their different personalities.

2019 vintage : grapes harvested in the municipalities of Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers and Champillon (75%) and Avize and Oiry (25%).
Mild winter with little rain, spring marked by three episodes of intense frost with damage mainly on the Chardonnay and therefore a cuvée with a predominance of Pinot. Dry summer with episodes of heat and consequent sunburn of the bunches. The harvest begins on September 12 and ends on the 22nd, of exceptional quality with moderate yields.

The resulting wines are particularly fine and elegant.
